Parish Council meetings usually take place on the third Monday of the month at the Burton Green Village Hall usually at 7.30pm, although occasionally may start earlier - check agendas for details. No meetings take place in the month of August or December.
Minutes from the previous monthly meeting may be viewed in draft form before being formally approved at the next meeting. Agendas may be viewed here or on the Parish Council noticeboard in Cromwell Lane a few days ahead of the meeting.
The Parish Council welcomes residents to Parish Council meetings, where there is an allocated time for ‘public participation’ which enables residents to speak at Council meetings. As a general rule, all Parish Council meetings (including any Committees and sub-committees if formed) are open to the press and public. However, from time to time, confidential items may be discussed in which case the press and members of the public are excluded in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960.
Agendas and minutes The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on Monday 17th January 2022. The meeting will start with a presentation from Warwick University about their plans for the Eco Park - everyone is welcome, the meeting will start at 6:45pm at the Burton Green village hall. The Agenda will be published below 3 working days prior to the meeting.
