Parish Council Meetings and paperwork
Parish Council meetings usually take place on the third Monday of the month at the Burton Green Village Hall usually at 7.30pm, although occasionally they may start earlier, check the Agenda for details. No meetings take place in the month of August or December.
The remaining meeting dates for 2024 are:
Minutes from the previous monthly meeting may be viewed in draft form before being formally approved at the next meeting. Agendas may be viewed here or on the three Parish Council noticeboards on Cromwell Lane, at the entrance to Burrow Hill car park off Hob Lane, and at the Red Lane play area a few days ahead of the meeting.
The Parish Council welcomes residents to Parish Council meetings, where there is an allocated time for ‘public participation’ which enables residents to speak at Council meetings. As a general rule, all Parish Council meetings (including any Committees and sub-committees if formed) are open to the press and public. However, from time to time, confidential items may be discussed in which case the press and members of the public are excluded in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960.

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on Monday 16th September 2024. All are welcome to attend - the meeting will start at 7:30pm at the village hall on Red Lane. The agenda will be published below at least 3 working days before the meeting.
