As part of the utility diversion works, HS2 needs an additional road closure to install a new sewer which requires significant machinery and a deep excavation in the highway.
To carry out the work, HS2 will close the road to create a safe working environment. A fully signposted diversion will be in place, with access for pedestrians, cyclists, homes and businesses throughout.
12 June 2023 to 24 June 2023 Cromwell Lane will be closed from 9am to 3pm.

Following the recent Local Elections and subsequent Council meeting, the Green party and the Labour party have established a Cabinet to lead the Council collaboratively.
