Red Lane is due to be closed from Hob Lane to Birmingham Road between the hours of 9:30am - 3pm from Monday 4th September to Friday 8th. The closure is to safely enable drainage works, carriageway patching and associated works.

An alternative route will be signed and is available via:
Cromwell Lane, Hodgetts Lane, Waste Lane, Kelsey Lane, A452 (Kenilworth Road, Birmingham Road) and vice versa.
Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only.

Dozens of buildings in Warwick district, some of which are not normally accessible to the public will be opening their doors for Heritage Open Days. This year’s event, which is part of England’s largest festival of history and culture runs from 8 to 17 September with more than forty events, openings and tours taking place.
Highlights this year include an opportunity to visit the oldest tennis club in the world, discover a hidden gem at Guy’s Cliffe Walled Garden or to join one or more of a variety of themed guided walks around Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth. Many of the district’s churches will also be open with volunteers on hand to show visitors around their stunning interiors designed by the leading architects and artists of the day.
Other local attractions including Packwood House, Baddesley Clinton, Hill Close Gardens and Bagot’s Castle will be offering free admission at limited times during the festival. Amongst the historic venues taking part is the Lord Leycester in Warwick with visitors able to book a free tour of the beautiful 900-year-old buildings following its multi-million-pound renovation.
