During the one day workshop, the friendly Bikesafe trainers will take you through a mix of classroom based training and police observed rides to help you fine-tune the skills and techniques you need to improve your safety on two wheels. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been riding, we all need to check and sharpen our skills at the start of a new season and Bikesafe is the perfect opportunity to do that whilst spending the day with fellow bike enthusiasts. The observed ride with a police graded motorcyclist covers attitude, observation, cornering, overtaking, filtering, junctions, group riding, hazard awareness and the system of motorcycle control. The cost of the workshop is heavily subsidised and at £65 per person represents an excellent investment in your own skills and safety. It also makes a great gift. The workshops take place at Warwickshire Police Headquarters in Leek Wootton, CV35 7QA and start at 8.30am.
