Warwick District Council is appealing to residents to help support the upcoming Police and Crime Commissioner election in May.
The Council is advertising several paid roles to support the election of the Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner, from supervising polling stations on voting day (Thursday 2 May) to assisting with the count, which will take place at Stoneleigh Park on Saturday 4 May. The roles, which include Presiding Officers, Poll Clerks and Count Clerks, are available to anyone over 18 years, subject to proof of ID. Those applying to work at a Polling Station will need to be available from 6.30am to 10.30pm on Thursday 2 May. The hours for the election count are expected to be from 9am to 4pm on Saturday 4 May. Full online training will be available for those applying for Presiding Officers and Poll Clerk roles.
